Biography


Alan Belerique is a Toronto based actor/writer/producer. He's starred in several Fringe Festival plays, including "Hey 90's kids, you're old!" which toured all through North America, including Toronto, New York and Chicago.

He improvises all through Toronto, including at Second City, Bad Dog and Social Capital, as well as weekly at "The Cage" as a part of 'Winprov's' house team "Improvniacs", and has studied at Second City and UCB in New York. You can see him this Winter in "A Medieval Christmas" as 'Joseph' as well as in the upcoming web series "Petrol".










Biography


Marc Hallworth is an actor, comedian, writer, director, teacher, and improvisor from Calgary, Alberta.

After doing years of theatre and independent film projects, he began doing stand-up and improv in Calgary. He moved to Toronto in 2009 to attend the Humber College “Comedy: Writing & Performance” program, performing at Yuk Yuk's, the Rivoli, the Comedy Bar, the Second City, the NXNE, Funniest Clean Comedian on the Lakeshore, and YYComedy Festivals.

He was a semi-finalist in the 2013 Toronto Comedy Brawl and (upon graduating) he won the Billy Crystal Sketch Award and the Mark Steven's Independent Producing Award. He is an improv tournament champion at both the Toronto Beerprov Draft and TheatreSports Micetro, participated as an improvisor in the 2015 Pages Unbound Festival, produced the improv tournament The ChapShtick Comedy Challenge at the 2015 Festival of New Formats, and helped produce and perform at the first ever Calgary Improv Festival.

He's appeared in the Canadian film The Cocksure Lads, the webseries The Village Green, and the revue Hey 90s Kids, You're Old at the New York Frigid Festival, which won the Audience Choice Award and appeared in an article in New York Times. Marc produces four comedy shows, Siren's Comedy, Drop & Give Me 20, The Vest Show in Town, and Vest of Friends Reloaded, the latter two he does with his sketch troupe Vest of Friends.


Biography


Dwayne Mailman is the founder of Focus UP and he has been performing and teaching improvisation and stage combat for over 6 years. Dwayne started his improvisation journey with Theatre Ontario’s “Introduction to Improvisation” where he learned the basics of improvisation and fell in love with it as an art form. As a graduate of Second City’s Conservatory program, Dwayne co-operatively wrote and performed in his own sketch review. You can find Dwayne in numorous television shows ("Vegas 911", "Surviving Evil", "Close Encounters", and many more) more recently you will find him staring on "I Pranked My Parents" - Dreamworks TV and "Made Up" - Disney and YTV Co Production He went on to teach and perform improvisation in a multitude of different venues ranging from backyards to corporate boardrooms all across Ontario. Dwayne has also taken his love for the art of improvisation and combined it with the Ministry of Education curriculum to give all of his students a classroom experience that is both fun and educational.



Biography


Tracy Rowland is an actress, producer and director. She co-hosts one of Toronto's longest running weekly improv shows: WINProv and teaches a weekly improv class. As a co-owner of Focus UP with her business partner, Dwayne Mailman, she provides improv, acting and stage combat training to kids, teens and adults from all walks of life. She also loves using improv in innovative ways to teach life skills like active listening, communication and resiliency.

Tracy performs all over southern Ontario with the following improv troupes: Comedy Tonite, Fans of Randy, Gramps & Midge, The Schmengies, Sweet Zombie Jesus, TADA, and the Improvniacs. She has also appeared in too many murder mysteries to count and has worked in a number of live interactive festivals.

As a graduate of Second City's Conservatory Program, she was a co-writer for the sketch revue "The Book of Moron". Additionally, she has trained in improv with Al Catlin, Stephanie Herrera, and Colin Mochrie of "Whose Line is it Anyway" fame.

Additionally, Tracy starred in the first season of the WNetwork hit show, Stuck and has acted in over 25 TV shows and films and countless commercials.

Todd Thomas Dark is an award-winning actor from Toronto. He has appeared in numerous feature films and tv series in addition to an extensive array of theatrical performances including traditional plays, improv, musicals, stage combat and sketch comedy shows. Among his favorite roles are Marc in Killing Schrodinger's Cats for which he won the Best Supporting Actor award at Night of the Living Film Festival, and The Duke in Man of La Mancha for which he won the Thea Award for Best Actor in a Musical.
